Everyone does the AI intensive in Utah. Then, you move to New York, San Francisco, or another startup location for your internship.

A good GPA and one summer internship used to be enough.

Now, you're competing against students who've already shipped a product, built a strong network, and developed top 1% AI skills.

In the Sandbox Startup Residency, you'll spend four months building the skills, network, and experience you need to land your dream full-time role.

And you'll earn college credit for all of it.

College credit arrangements are subject to final approval from our accrediting partner.

Go through our application process, which includes a written application and two to three behavioral interviews.

JANUARY 2027

Complete the AI intensive

Go all-in on building with AI for three weeks, tour startups in SF for a week, and build lifelong friendships with your cohort of top students from across the country.

FEBRUARY TO APRIL 2027

Move to NYC or SF and work at a top startup for three months
